Players in the organization are ranked according to steals per game times success rate. Everyone with six or more steals as of the close of business on June 25 is shown here.
Lake may not have been 100% after a month on the DL with a back injury. This would account for his lower-than-usual success rate.
All of the Peoria players except Easterling are new to the list. Andreoli played eight games for Peoria in 2011 but did not make the list at that time.
As usual, this is a good list. As much as anything else I can think of, the right-hand column of this table gives you athleticism reduced to a number. The list has always featured legitimate, sought-after prospects like Campana, Guyer, Lee, Fuld, Jackson, Lake, Thomas (Tony).
Putting aside Campana (already a major leaguer), I would cite four names in the top eight as seriously bright prospects: Baez, Alcantara, DeVoss and Jackson.
